Hyundai has launched its all new Santa Fe at a starting price of Rs.26.3 lakh.The car is available in three variants like Hyundai Santa Fe 2WD MT, Hyundai Santa Fe 2WD AT and Hyundai Santa Fe 4WD AT. It gets 4 cylinder, 2199 cc, 2.2 litre CRDI engine with e-VGT turbocharger can produce the maximum power output of 197 bhp at 3800 rpm and maximum torque output of 42.9 kgm at 1800-2500 rpm. The engine is available with both 6 speed manual and 6 speed automatic transmission.The car can be able to reach from 0-100 kmph in just 9.4 seconds. The engine can return an overall mileage of 14.74 kmpl for manual transmission while the automatic variants offers 13.01 kmpl. Santa Fe 2014 gets the Storm Edge design philosophy derived from Hyundais Fluidic design philosophy.The front brake of the car gets a ventilated disc type while the rear gets a solid disc type.The major competitors of Hyundai Santa Fe 2014 are Toyota Fortuner, Ford Endeavour, Ssangyong Rexton and Chevrolet Captiva.
