Yamaha, the Japanese manufacturer has displayed its R25 concept at the 2013 Tokyo Motor show in Japan. It will get liquid-cooled, fuel injected, 250 cc parallel twin-cylinder engine with six speed transmission. The company plans to start the production of this R25 by next year.
It will get telescopic forks for front suspension and monoshock for rear. It also will include disc brakes at both front and rear, LED tail lamp and split seat .Yamaha does not reveal other specifications yet. Before the production of this bike, it may receive some changes.
It is expected that the R25 would be unveiled at the Delhi Auto Expo in February 2014. We can expect the launch of this bike during the festive season by next year. Yamaha will build this two wheeler at local plants in order to fix the price competitive. R25 will compete with the two wheelers like Honda CBR 250R and Kawasaki Ninja 300
