Yamaha today launched the much expected R25 in Indonesia. R25 assumes greater significance as its touted as the next model from India Yamaha Motors. YZF R25 is powered by 8 valve 250cc four-stroke parallel-twin engine. The liquid-cooled DOHC engine produces 35.5bhp of peak power at 12,000rpm and 22.1Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. The powerplant is mated with a six-speed manual gearbox.
YZF R25 comes with all the bells and whistles which one would expect from a quarter litre motor bike. Right from the diamond frame, beefy 41mm telescopic front fork unit and 140/70 tubeless tyres at the rear.
