Volkswagen launches Polo GT TDI in India at a price of Rs 8.08 lakh. It gets 1.6 litre, 4 cylinder turbo diesel engine which is already employed in Vento. The 1.6 litre engine can able to deliver the maximum power output of 105 ps and maximum torque of 250 Nm. The engine is mated to 5 speed manual gear box. It offers an ARAI certified 19.78 km/l of fuel efficiency.
The new Polo includes halogen headlamps, 185/60 R15 alloy wheels, leather wrapped steering wheel, handbrake lever, gear shift knob and a GT chrome grill. It gets comfort features like height adjustable driver seat remote locking multifunction steering wheel. It also get the safety features like rear parking sensors, dual airbags, ABS and a triple flash lane change indicator.
