As we reported earlier,TVS has launched its new stylish scooter,Jupiter which is based on the Wego platform in Chennai at a price of Rs 44,200. Jupiter is the fourth product of TVS after its popular bikes like Scooty Pep, Scooty Streak and Wego. This scooter is mainly targeted towards male buyers.
Jupiter gets same 110cc engine from the Wego which can produce 8bhp of power and torque of 8Nm.It gets five litre fuel tank.It will offer a mileage of 62 kmpl.It includes telescopic forks for front suspension and gas-charged rear suspension
It gets 12inch black alloy wheels twin city lamps and LED tail lamps and patented ‘Econometer’ which can able to guide the riders in order to switch the modes. between eco and power mode. It can provide the space for full faced helmet under the seat and mobile charging point.The fuel filler is placed at the rear in order to fill the fuel without opening the seat like the Wego

Titanium Grey
Mercury White
Midnight Black
Volcano Red.
Chairman & MD, Mr.Srinivasa said, “The product will be available in North India today. It will be launched in South India by November. The ex-showroom price in New Delhi Rs 44,200”
“We are confident that this will be the best launch (for TVS). Every quarter from now you can expect a new product from TVS. The company is targeting to produce 10,000 units every month and has the capacity to scale up to 20,000 units if needed.”, he added.
Mr.Srinivasan also announced that the company will roll out the Scooty Zest, another variant of the Scooty series, on January 1,2014.
