TVS has showcased Draken X21 concept bike at the 2014 Auto Expo. The concept bike is fully based on the company’s new design philosophy. The Draken X21, naked street fighter concept gets 249.2cc, 4V, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine with 6 speed gearbox. The engine lies nestled in an exposed aluminium trellis frame.
The engine can churn out peak power of 38.47hp at 12,000rpm and peak torque of 23Nm at 9500rpm.At the front it gets 120/70 R17 pirelli tyres and 160/60 R17 tyres at rear. Suspension duties will be done with the help of 41mm inverted telescopic forks at the front and off-set monoshock, cast-alloy swingarm at the rear. It includes petal type disc brake at the front and rear disc brake with Anti-lock Braking System for perfect braking.
Draken includes exhaust with unique design which is also called High performance reverse free flow exhaust. The front of Draken gets full LED head light with day time running lamps. A full function digital instrument console is mounted on the straight handlebar. It features LED tail light and also indicators.
