Royal Enfield has launched Continental GT in the UK. It is expected that the launch of Continental GT will be the month of October during the festive season. It is to be priced over Rs 2 lakh approximately. It has also introduced ‘Burn-up Wear’ a set of motorcycle riding gear.
It gets 535 cc air cooled four stroke engine which uses a bigger piston for the larger displacement. It can deliver the maximum power of 29.1bhp and maximum torque of 4000 rpm. It offers top speed of 160 km/hr. It will come with new body work. It looks racier than the retro street bike which is one of Royal Enfield motorcycles. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gear box and it can be powered by either the kick start or electric start.
It receives a 13.5 liter fuel tank, a speedometer and tachometer. The GT 535 features aluminum rims and smaller mud guards. It gets disc brakes at both the front and rear.
