Bajaj plans to launch new motorcycles in 150-200cc segment. Bajaj feels that it is suffering a little slow down in the 150-200cc motorcycle category and it needs to improve its position. So it plans to launch Pulsar 150NS and Pulsar 180NS. The company has been testing on their Pulsar 150NS and Pulsar 180NS. Now the Pulsar 150NS has been spotted testing which will get more accessories from its sibling, Pulsar 200NS.
The Pulsar 150NS gets single seat while the Pulsar 200NS owns split seats. It includes the same parts such as wheels, indicators and instrument cluster from the Pulsar 200NS. The bike was spotted with aluminium holder for number plate and split grab rails.
The current Pulsar 150 is powered by an air-cooled, four stroke, DTS-I engine with 5 speed gearbox. The engine can generate maximum power output of 15.06PS at 9000rpm and maximum torque output of 12.5Nm at 6500rpm. The upcoming Pulsar 150NS will get an all new engine with triple spark ignition technology. The both Pulsar 150NS and Pulsar 180NS will get a price slightly higher than that of current Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180 models.
The fuel tank of the bike is not similar to the old model and the usual silencer has been replaced by an under-body one like Duke 200, 390, Pulsar 200 NS. The rear will be very different with the mud guard and will have a mono shock suspension.
