Bajaj has expanded their Discover brand portfolio with the launch of all new Discover 125. Currently Bajaj owns seven different models in Discover brand. Out of seven, three models present in 100cc segment while the other four models comes under 125cc segment. New Discover 125
The new Discover 125 gets 124.6cc, 4-valve, single-cylinder, DTS-I engine with ExhausTec. The engine is coupled to 4 speed gearbox. It can produce maximum power output of 11.5PS at 8000rpm and maximum torque output of 10.8 Nm at 6000rpm.
Discover 125 T
The new Discover 125 can develop peak power of 11.5PS only while the other Discover models namely Discover 125 T and Discover 125 ST can deliver maximum power output of 12.5PS and 13PS respectively. New Discover 125 offers top speed of 100 kmph while the other models can offer 105 Kmph. Discover 125 T and Discover 125 ST gets 5 speed gearbox but new Discover 125 comes with 4 speed gearbox.
Discover 125 ST
The fuel tank capacity of new Discover 125 is 9.5 litre which is 0.5 litre less than the other models. The overall dimension of the bike is totally different from other models. It measures 1986mm in length, 678mm in width and 1044mm in height. The wheelbase and ground clearance of new model is 1255mm and 165mm respectively.
The new Discover 125 gets the same type of suspension from Discover 125 T. It includes 130mm telescopic suspension at the front and 110mm nitrox twin suspension at the rear. The Discover 125 ST model gets telescopic fork with anti-friction DU bush as front suspension and nitrox monoshock with gas canister suspension at rear. Discover 125 gets optional 200mm disc brake and 130mm drum brake.
