Yamaha R25 Specifications and Price

Yamaha today launched the much expected R25 in Indonesia. R25 assumes greater significance as its touted as the next model from India Yamaha Motors.  YZF R25 is powered by 8 valve 250cc four-stroke parallel-twin engine. The liquid-cooled DOHC engine produces 35.5bhp of peak power at 12,000rpm and 22.1Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. The powerplant is mated with a six-speed manual gearbox.

YZF R25 comes with all the bells and whistles which one would expect from a quarter litre motor bike. Right from the diamond frame, beefy 41mm telescopic front fork unit and 140/70 tubeless tyres at the rear.

Maruti launches Celerio CNG

Maruti launched the green variant of its popular selling hatchback Celerio. Celerio CNG comes with 1.0L engine chruning out 58bhp. The power rating is approximately 10bhp lesser than its petrol counterpart.

The Celerio CNG is equipper with Marutis patented iGPI system that also does duty on the Maruti WagonR and Ertiga. Maruti claims the Celerio Green will do 31.79km/ kg. The Maruti Celerio CNG is priced at Rs 4.68 lakh Ex-showroom, Delhi.

Mahindra Mojo set for launch shortly

After recently unveiling the revamped version of the ‘ Mahindra Majo’ on the year of 2014. The test bike is being tested in outside of the Pune,  The Moja has been available similar pieces.

The Moja front cowl and flush set with twin head lamps seen as the same model of 2010. It’s Indicators are bolted into the cowl, the tank showcase is redesigned knee recesses that blend in well, It’s get two horizontally flowing golden bars below the tank, The Indian company has provided the slightly stepped seat with individually placed grab rails for the pillion. The Mudguard is look like very nice because its have the LED lights on the top oh head.

Mahindra has already stated that the Mojo will use a 292CC, single cylinder, four stroke, Liquid cooled and fuel injected enjine.Its four valve head will deploy dual overhead Cam shafts. Engine shall generate 25.8php power.and it’s torque is 2.5kgm.

The Mojo gets stubby looking exhaust canister placed on the bike both sides. the Mojo uses top spec upside down front forks, coupled with the rear monoshock, its get splash of gold on it. The test rider’s judging is the handle bar and centre set of foot rests are placed to help of upside riding stance.
The single front and rear disc break is stopped the bike.

We will see the bike at India showrooms in the year end. It will be interesting to see how the prize of the bike? KTM and BAJAJ having set a tall example in the same segment, The competative pricing for their recently launched KTM 390 Duke streetbike.

Bajaj Pulsar SS200 hits in Dealerships

Bajaj to launch Pulsar SS200, the much awaited bike soon in India. The Pulsar SS200 has been spotted testing at various places in the country. Now the company is dispatching the Pulsar 200SS to the dealerships in the country. So we can expect the launch of Pulsar SS200 soon in the country.

Pulsar SS200 is powered by the same engine from Pulsar 200NS. Bajaj Pulsar SS200 is powered by 199.5cc, single cylinder, triple spark, 4 valve engine. The engine can use Fuel Injection (FI) instead of the carburetor. It can churn out maximum power output of 25 bhp. Pulsar SS200 is expected to include the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) option. It will include clip on handle bars and projector head lamps.

The front eyebrow graphics of SS200 is totally different from the SS400 and gets the black shade on side of the headlamps. Compact exhaust, twin headlamps, optional ABS, FI unit and digital instrument cluster are the highlights of Pulsar SS200. Pulsar SS200 will get some parts from its sibling Pulsar SS400. It includes the same parts like pointed visor, LED pilot lamps and telescopic shock absorbers. It will be available with more color options including sky blue.

Royal Enfield announces new colours for Classic and Thunderbird Series

Royal Enfield has added new colour options to its Classic and Thunderbird series. Recently the company has updated its logo. Now the company has added new colour options to their famous motorcycles.

Thunder Bird 500 is powered by 499cc, single cylinder, 4 stroke, twin spark, air-cooled engine with 5 speed constant mesh gearbox. The engine can deliver peak power of 27.2bhp at 5250rpm and maximum torque output of 41.3Nm. Thunderbird 350 is powered by single cylinder, 4 stroke, twin spark, air-cooled engine which can able to develop maximum power output of 19.8bhp at 5250rpm and maximum torque output of 28Nm at 4000rpm. The Classic 350 and Classic 500 gets the same engine options from Thunderbird 350 and Thunderbird 500 respectively.

The Classic 350 gets dark blue and ash shade. The existing shades of Classic 350 are classic black and silver. Bullet Classic 500 gets new shade classic tan. Thunderbird 350 and Thunderbird 500 get two new colour options –lightning grey and marine blue. The existing colour option for Thunderbird series is black.

Honda to launch new 160cc sporty motorcycle

Honda plans to launch a new 160cc motorcycle in India. The new 160cc motorcycle will be a sporty and stylish model. Honda also plans to introduce a new entry level motorcycle in Dream Series. The both motorcycles will be launched in next year. Honda will launch new motorcycle in Dream series first, probably in June.

We can expect the launch of this 160cc sporty bike by August of next year. It will compete with the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer.

Mahindra new MPV -Spy Pictures

Mahindra has been developing an all new MPV to take on Maruti Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy and upcoming Honda Mobilio. The new MPV has been spotted testing near Ooty. This new MPV is based on their upcoming S101. The S101 is smaller than this spotted test mule.

The upcoming model will be available with both petrol and diesel engine options. We can expect the price of this model at a price of Rs.10 lakhs.

The petrol variant of Mahindra S101 gets a 1.2 litre engine and the diesel version could be powered by a new 1.5 litre engine with similar mechanical bits from the Quanto’s power train. The engines are to be mated with 6-speed manual transmission gearboxes. A highly advanced Front Wheel Drive system is expected to be used in this SUV vehicle. It is expected to be rated with maximum power outputs close to 90 bhp in both of its petrol and diesel variants.

Suzuki launches updated Swish 125

Suzuki has updated its Swish 125 to take on new Activa 125. It gets the cosmetic changes like new body graphics, colour options only. It also receives revised instrument cluster. The updated model does not receive any mechanical changes. It is powered by the same 124cc, single cylinder, four stroke engine with CVT transmission. The engine can churn out maximum power of 8.6PS and maximum torque output of 9.8Nm at 5500rpm.

Swish 125 gets multi reflector lights. It includes the same telescopic coil spring suspension at the front and swing arm suspension at rear. It measures 1780mm in length, 650mm in width and 1140mm in height. The wheelbase and ground clearance are 1250mm and 160mm. The updated model also gets the same 120mm drum brake. It does not provide disc option.

The overall weight of the scooter is 110kg. It offers large under seat storage capacity of 20 litre. The fuel tank capacity is 6 litre. The updated Swish gets colour options namely black, white, silver, red and blue. It is available at a price of Rs.52, 671(On-road price Delhi).

Bajaj to launch Pulsar 200 NS FI in Indonesia

Bajaj has been developing FI (Fuel Injected) version of current Pulsar 200NS model for Indonesia. This Pulsar 200NS FI may share its engine option to the upcoming Pulsar SS200. The company has not revealed any information about the launch of Pulsar 200NS FI in India.

The 200NS FI will share its Fuel Injected with their famous Duke 200cc model. The FI (Fuel Injected) technology was first introduced in Pulsar 220 FI, but it was replaced with the Carburetor version later.

The engine with triple spark plug can deliver more power and torque figures than the conventional single spark plug. The current carburetor version engine can churn out peak power of 23.5bhp and peak torque of 18.3Nm. The power and torque output figures will be improved with this Fuel Injection system. First, the company will launch this model in Indonesia.

Yamaha reveals new street fighter, MT-125

Yamaha has unveiled MT-125, a new model in their MT series motorcycles. The Japanese two wheeler manufacturer plans to launch this MT-125, street fighter bike globally by July 2014. The MT-125, street fighter bike is based on fully faired YZF R125. It will be available in three color options red, grey and blue.

MT-125 gets 125cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, 4 stroke engine with 6 speed gearbox. The engine can churn out maximum power of 15bhp and maximum torque of 2.4Nm. It is equipped with 292mm disc brake at the front and 230mm disc brake at the rear. It gets Y shaped alloy wheels with 17” tyres.

Suspension duty can be done with the help of upside down forks at the front. With this MT-125 model the company has entered into the street fighter category. It also plans to introduce 250cc motorcycle, MT-25. The MT-25 will get the same engine from the upcoming fully faired motorcycle, Yamaha R25.
