Suzuki’s new product named”Gixxer 155″ is expected to set its footprints in India on 10th August with price range starting from Rs 72,000 to Rs78,000.Suzuki is striving hard to achieve its pinnacle of success against leading Yamaha FZ16, Honda CB Trigger and upcoming Bajaj Discover 150. Gixxer 155 uses 5-speed manual gearbox that gets mated to the powerful engine that will  produce  peak power of 13.9 PS and a peak torque of 13.4 Nm.The Gixxer 155 uses a carburetor and the prototype had a Bybre non-ABS brake up front on a drum brake at the rear.For safe handling,chassis light and stiff have been made.

For the first time,Bajaj  introduces semi-fairing concept in Discover series through Discover 150F,targeting young enthusiasts who are in favour of getting  a bike with big-looks running at better mileage.It is to be launched soon at an affordable price ranging from Rs60,000 to Rs65,000.A 4-stroke,4-valve Dual-Spark engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox,with power and torque specs   similar to that of Pulsar 150S,featuring MRF Nylogrip Zapper tyres on both wheels. For getting enriched and straight riding postures,high-raised handlebar along with the inherited headlamp design of Discover family and forward-set foot pegs, have been deployed along with presence of front disc brake plates,to meet the expectations.

Solio , a stretched wheelbase hatchback of Maruti was recently spotted in India, close to the MSIL  headquarters in Gurgaon , indicating that it is indeed being considered for India. We are unsure whether it is getting used as  as  a testing mule or for random engine testing.  Though Solio  seems to be similar to that of Suzuki palette,both model possess WagonR platform as the underpinning. To the existing 2-row WagonR, spacious 7-seat arrangement has been added to it in a compact way ,through reduction of copious leg room of 5-seat model,for luxurious and comfort purpose. Enhancing Solio’s rich features through remote control electric sliding door adds to user-friendliness. Solio uses the K12B engine, which is a 1.2 liter-4 cylinder petrol motor that outputs 85 Bhp of power and 114 Nm of torque,powering the likes of the  Swifts and Ritz hatchbacks.If launched in India, the Suzuki Solio is expected to be positioned between the WagonR and the Ertiga.

 

Yamaha’s new fascinating Fazer Version 2 is expected to arrive during festive season costing around Rs.82,000 following the FZ version2,which had been launched a few days ago.Both the variants get the fuel injection as the main arsenal,with 149cc motor that powers 13.1PS  of power and 12.8Nm of torque .However Fazer V2 remains to be gorgeous than FZ  version 2 ,due to the exhibiting features like fairing and performance which have been tested on streets,proving Fazer version 2 to be flawless. Bajaj Discover 150S is expected to arrive in the next few days at the price range of Rs.55,000 – 65,000. A 4 valve air cooled 150 cc engine, which powers Bajaj Discover 150, is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. A meatier 100/90-17 rear MRF tyre gets fitted to it. The admiring features of Discover 150S makes it an ideal competitor to Honda CB Unicorn, Yamaha SZ Series. In addition to discover 150F and 150S, Bajaj’s preparation in releasing the new variants of Pulsar family seems to be an added spice to achieve its peak in sales.

Today, for the first time in India, Honda has launched it’s Multi-purpose vehicle named “Mobilio” costs Rs.6.49 lakhs for petrol variant and 7.89 lakhs for diesel variant.Introducing 4 new variants namely E,S,V and RS,seems to be a good competitor against Ertiga, Mahindra Xylo, Nissan Evalia, Toyota and Innova. Though it resembles Amaze Sedan and Brio hatchback,it proves to be unique with its elegant appearance. The term “Mobilio” has its root in English words “mobile” and “mobility”.

The Honda Mobilio petrol variant will be powered by the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine, which powers the new Honda City.The petrol engine produces 117bhp and 14.8kgm of torque.The new 1.5litre i-DTEC engine which powers both Amaze and Honda City is designed to power the Mobilio Diesel variant.The diesel engine develops 99bhp and 20.4kgm of torque and returns a claimed 24.2kpl. Furthermore it provides customers with choices of choosing among exclusive crystal Black color of RS variant and seven colors of Mobilio. Considering the customer’s need for luxurious long drive,Honda brought up a solution in the name of Mobilio to meet their demands.

Today,  especially for the customers who are wander of off-riding bike, Hero Motorcorp has launched its “Passion Pro TR” with one variant in India costs at Rs 53,531.The price differs at Rs 5000 when compared to Passion Pro.It had been unveiled at Delhi Auto Expo,successor to Splendor Classic,with additional adds-on like hand-guards, knee pad etc.It provides us with three flavours in colors.
