Fiat Group Automobiles India President Managing Director Nagesh Basavanhalli highlighted the motive that the customers are the king for promoting the growth of the firm through his statement “We are now strengthening our product portfolio in India with cars that are designed and engineered keeping Indian conditions and need in mind”.He further stated that the company will continue to expand its presence in the Indian market. A 67 bhp 1.2-litre petrol, an 89bhp 1.4-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel in two states of tune – 75bhp and 90bhp will power up the Punto Evo that gets mated to to a five-speed manual gearbox.   Punto Evo has been enhanced with enchanting features like sweptback headlamps,power bulge on the bonnet,clear lens LED-enabled tail-lamp,dual-toned dashboard with some textured soft plastics on the front.

Mahindra is gearing up for the imminent launch of Mojo 300 at the price tag of Rs 2 lakhs, competing with Kawasaki Ninja 300R, Honda CBR 250R and KTM Duke 390 / RC 390.A 292cc liquid cooled, four stroke, single cylinder engine will power the camouflaged bike at 27 bHp of power and 25 Nm of torque that will get mated to a 6-speed transmission gearbox.The most mysterious thing lies in its appearance with USF(Upside down Forks) and twin mufflers.Features like mudguard, Pirelli Sport Demon tyres mounted on Y-spoke black alloy wheels, LED tail-light and LED-turn indicators  are most welcomed among enthusiastic riders.Besides,the above mentioned expected features,the upcoming features will also be introduced that includes front cowl with twin headlamps with daytime running lights fitted on the board, digital speedometer, trip meter, fuel meter, and an analogue tachometer.Hence,the most anticipated bike is to be arrived soon in India.

Maruti Suzuki,renowned for its premium hatchback car maker,is supposed to launch its upgraded Swift in the month of November.Due to the implementation of new cosmetic upgrades and subtle enhancement of features,Swift becomes more lovable now. The new swift will see the light of the day in November 2014.However the mechanical deployment and interior design are retained to be the same as that of  original Swift. Swift will continue with the same 1.2 litre K-Series petrol and 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine.  The surprise could be it’s new AMT gearbox package on both the petrol and diesel Swifts.  Another interesting welcome would be  integration of daytime running lights into the front bumper along with with a redesigned grille and headlamp package.

     TVS is planning to launch its fascinating Scooty Zest sporting a sparkling blue color,considered to be the latest face lifted version of the current scooty line-up,on 20th August.It has been designed with the  110 cc  air-cooled, single cylinder CVT-I engine gets mated to a V-Matic CVT gearbox that produces 8 bhp of power and 8 Nm of torque.Zest has been featured with some cosmetic-updates that include headlamps, turn indicators,back-lit speedometer and LED-enabled tail-lamps.Besides Zest has been built on the same platform that underpins the Scooty Pep+ and Scooty Streak.

Introducing with petrol and diesel variants,Maruti Ciaz is to be launched in the festive season of September,with pre-launch booking in the  earlier August at the ex-showroom price of Rs 7.5 -10.5 Lakhs.The petrol Ciaz would be powered by 1.4-liter K-Series four-cylinder engine that gets mated to the 5-speed manual gearbox or a CVT ,whereas the diesel variant will be powered by Fiat-sourced 1.3-liter Multijet engine producing 90 PS (88.73 bhp) and 200 Nm of torque that gets mated with an only option of manual gearbox.To match up to  the competition with Honda City, Hyundai Verna, VW Vento , Skoda Rapid and Fiat Linea, Ciaz takes the styling inspiration from  Suzuki Authentics concept,provided with the better rear seat experience to have a fabulous ride.The car is expected to measure 4,545 mm in length,making it longer than new Honda City.Further,Ciaz has been feature packed with projector headlights, 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, multi-function steering wheel, engine starter button, rear AC vent, climate control, ABS, EBD and at least two airbags.

In an intend to make Mahindra  SUV Scorpio to be evergreen among the customer’s choice,major changes have been made to the interior as well as the exterior styling.It has been designed to make use of the same 2.2 litre mHawk producing 120 bhp and 2.5 litre m2DiCR  producing 75 bhp,both get mated to a 5-speed manual  gearbox.Regarding the updates made with exterior,the major change has been done at the rear side with  slightly re-worked bumper and LED-tail lamp along with angular front styling with a new bumper,grille and headlamps.Interior design includes  7-inch touch screen and reverse camera,new-layered dual-tone dashboard with dual glove boxes,automatic climatic control,steering wheel from XUV500  with buttons for cruise control and audio.The major change has been done in the power-window switches whose position is now changed from dash to the doors.New instrument panel with multi-information display has also been included.Also,second-row AC vents are now square shaped.So,expect the upgraded  Mahindra Scorpio’s launch later this year with slight changes in price.

The long awaited “Elite i20” premium hatchback of Hyundai,is to be launched on 11th August,while bookings have been started from today at affordable price range starting from Rs.5-7.5lacs at ex-showroom price.Implementation of the brand’s “Fluidic Sculpture 2.0” design,at Hyundai Motor’s Design Centre Europe in Russelsheim , Germany,gives the “Elite i20”, second generation of hatchback,an elegant look.Though the technical specifications for the new model has not yet been revealed,it is expected to be powered by 1.2 and 1.4 litre engine albeit with minor modifications.

The most curious thing regarding the new model,is the addition of a new wraparound window and boomerang shaped taillights at the rear profile and dark treatment of C-pillar at the side profile.The front of the car features a new hexagonal grille and a thin horizontal strip which connects the headlamps,considered to be the company’s new signature.Due to the distinctive and sophisticated design of Elite i20,it stands  as the leading competitor against Maruti Suzuki Swift,VW Polo, Honda Jazz, Fiat Punto Evo and  Tata Bolt.

Upgraded version of Hyundai i20 is to be launched in India in the second week of August even before its global debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October. Several changes in design have been made with the new i20 giving it an entirely elegant look.Introduction of new boomerang shaped tail-lights,makes the car’s rear profile to look entirely different from that of the earlier model.With the aid of the fresh elements supported by the car that includes synchronized fluidic design, brake lights with LED elements, differently designed air dams, swept back head-lamps and new ORVM ,side-profile seems to be much better when compared to that of the existing i20 model.With the upcoming i20,the dealers are asked to clear the stock offering at huge discounts.
