For the first time,Honda Cars India Ltd,has  set its footprint in the segment of Audio Video Navigation (AVN) and Rear View Parking Camera,through the release of new grades of Honda Mobilio,namely V(O) and RS(O).The prices (ex showroom New Delhi) of the newly introduced grades of Mobilio are

1.5L V(O) MT (Petrol) – Rs 9.46 lakh

1.5L V(O) MT (Diesel) – Rs 10.45 lakh

Mobilio RS(O) Diesel – Rs 11.55 lakh.

Regarding its engine specifications,the  Diesel Mobilio will be powered by the 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine churning out at the maximum power of 100 ps@3600 rpm, maximum torque of 200 Nm@1750 rpm tends to provide mileage up to 24.5 kmpl,whereas  The Petrol Mobilio with 1.5 L i-VTEC petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 119 ps@6600 rpm, maximum torque of 145 Nm@4600 rpm and proves to be fuel-efficient by providing mileage upto 17.3 kmpl.

Recently,the new premium variant of the electric car e20 was launched by the Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles, a part of the Mahindra Vehicle,at an affordable price of Rs 5.72 lakh (on road Delhi).Further to make the car more affordable,company had launched an innovative scheme in the name of “Good Bye Fuel,Hello Electric” .This program tends to  separate the initial acquisition cost and the usage cost in terms of battery and its maintainance.This provision enables one to save money by allowing him to pay only for what he drives.The company planned to charge a monthly energy fee of Rs 2,999 that allow the customers to drive about Rs 50,000 kms for a period of five years.

The engine has been tuned up in a way to produce the power in an efficient manner such that the new model will get an additional range of 40 km with  80 km offered with the earlier e20.Most of the features like a touchscreen infotainment system, reversing camera and assist and  electrically adjustable wing mirrors are retained from that of its predecessor.  Chetan Maini ,CEO of Mahindra Reva Electric Vehicles stated that   “Convenience of city driving has always been a priority for Mahindra Reva.”.This was accomplished with the aid of electric steering that was given as a provision,to endure with the urban locality conditions.

  The long awaited Suzzuki Gixxer is to be arrived at an attractive price tag of Rs . 84,344/-(on-road,Mumbai)and at Rs79,809(on-road ,Delhi).Also,the details regarding its specifications are out.Further,its launch is scheduled for mid-September.As per the earlier posts,it is ensured that 154.9cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, 2-valve engine churning out 4.8 PS of power at 8000 RPM and 14 Nm of torque at 6000 RPM gets mated to a 5-speed gearbox.The new report states that rear disc brake will not be offered even as an option.Although,it comes with front disc brake that uses telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear end.A 100/80/17 front tyre and a 140/60/17 rear tyre are found to be in usage of the bike weighing 135 kgs.Its seat height measures up to 780 mm.

Maruti Suzuki has planned to introduce the diesel variant of Celerio hatchback by April 2015 in the price range starting from Rs 4 lakhs.Like other diesel variants,it is expected to come in three trim levels- LDi, VDi and ZDi.Now the tests are going on the upcoming variant in Japan.The sedan holds the ZDi badge to indicate it as a diesel engine,that makes it distinct from petrol/CNG variants of the car .It is believed that Maruti Suzuki would choose to use a 793 cc,twin- cylinder unit with common rail technology as the small oil-burner to be employed in a passenger car in India.It is likely to be mated with ATM gearbox,to produce at the mileage of  30kpl.Maruti Suzuki is also gearing up to enter into the commercial vehicle segment LCV,codenamed as Y9T that is also claimed to get the same diesel engine as Celerio ,but in a different state of tune.Next to the Honda City,that is in current up market,this Celerio diesel would become the most fuel efficient car to be sold in India.Here are some spy pictures of upcoming Celerio diesel variant.

The interior snapshots of Fiat Avventura has been unveiled.The car sports a black and beige theme.Indication of the car either as the base or mid variant has been proved by the presence of a manual HVAC unit and the lack of steering-mounted controls.The instrument that comprises  of gauges – compass, roll-and-tilt meter and inclinometer replaces the storage space ofund above the central air-conditioner vents.Along with the provision of steering wheel, instrument cluster and audio system,the additional features have been added in the form of  set of larger alloy wheels, muscular styling, projector headlamps, restyled bumpers, roof rails, body cladding and a tail gate-mounted spare wheel makes the Avventura look rocky.6-speed gearbox that is expected to get at the production version has now been unfortunately replaced by the 5-speed units.So,lets invite the new Avventura which comes with a new revision which is expected to arrive at next month.

Today TVS Scooter Zest has been launched at Rs42,300 in the 110 cc segment.It targets young female customers with its attractive colour and fascinating features like LED taillight, open glove compartment, textured floor board, twilight lamps, backlit odometer and stainless steel muffler guard.

Mahindra’s new 110 cc scooter which is expected to be launched in sometime next month,will be christened as “Zesto”.It is likely to get its engine from Mahindra Centuro.A new 100 cc single cylinder,air-cooled engine,get paired to a variometric transmission.The engine will produce up to 8 PS of power and 9 Nm of torque.Fuel-efficiency is claimed to be around 60 km/l to match with that of  110 cc segment leaders.

Regarding its outlook, Zesto is expected to get the steel rims.The bold looking headlamp cluster looks similar to that of Honda Active.The chunky looking wrap-around tail-light adds to one of its features.Its exterior stylish looks seems to be blue-eyed among  the teenages.With Zesto,Mahindra is expected to continue its strategy .With its aggressive design language, it with compete with the likes of TVS Scooty, Honda Activa-i and  Hero Maestro.
