suzuki-gixxerFinally,the launch of Suzuki Gixxer has been confirmed officially on September 9th.The on-road price of the bike is fixed at Rs84,344 in Mumbai.The bookings for the bike has been started by the company so early even before it’s launch.Suzuki plans to introduce the latest technology namely SEP on to the engine with 155cc displacement with an intention to promote two factors fuel efficiency of 60kmpl and good performance that meets up to 14.8PS of power and 14 Nm of torque.This mill gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.With handsome design and  fascinating adds-on  like chunky-end can,wide tyres and digitized meters,it is going to make a mark in the big segment soon.

Suzuki motorcycle India has launched new generation Hayate motorcycle priced at Rs 44,969/-(ex-showroom,Delhi), in order to deliver a new fresh looking product in its motorcycle lineup.It is said to be available in five different color shades-Glass Sparkle Black – Red Graphic, Glass Sparkle Black – Blue Graphic, Pearl Mirage White, Pearl Mira Red/Glass Sparkle Black and Pearl Moon Stone Grey.There are no changes to be found to the mechanical part,that is the same 112 cc 4-stroke  air-cooled engine tends to produce the maximum power of 8.3 PS of power and 8.8 Nm of torque.This power train gets mated to a 4-speed gearbox.the commuter has undergone some changes while the tubeless tyres get broader rims,5-step rear shock absorber and maintainance free battery have been added.All these upgrades have been done mainly to give the bike an improved mileage and smoother ride.further newly added body graphics and the fully painted cowl gives the bike a new lease of life.Efficient braking is applied with the presence of drum brakes at the front and rear.However the front disc brakes are found to miss,since it is not even offered even as an option.with the sale of 2014 Hayate,Suzuki is going to face a tough competition with  Honda Dream Yuga, Hero Passion Pro, TVS Star City+, and Mahindra Centuro.

hyundai grand sportz Following the successful  launch of Grand i10,Hyundai again make a mark  in the name of SportZ Edition,a new edition of Grand i10.It arrives at the price tag of  RS 5.11 lakh for petrol while it is priced at Rs 5.98 for diesel.Both the prices mentioned here are the ex-Delhi.The petrol variant is powered by the 1.2 litre Kappa engine while U21.1 litre CRDi engine is designed to power the diesel variant.

Honda Motorcycle and  Scooter India PVt limited(HMSI) has now recently launched the new 2014 Dream Neo in new colour shade-White body colored with red stripes in the existing line up.Already the bike seems to be available in five different colors-Amazing White, Black with Violet stripes, Black with Red stripes, Alfa Red and Monsoon Grey Metallic. This is mainly provided with a wide variety of options to the customers to choose.Further,it gives the customer to own the bike they want without paying any extra charges..It will powered up by the same 110 cc engine that tends to produce the maximum power at 8.25 BHP and 8.63 Nm of torque.

Honda’s new compact XR-V SUV unveiled

Honda’s new compact SUV XR-V  has been unveiled at the 17th Chengdu Motor Show.We are expecting it’s  launch to be happen in India  by the end of this year as per the statement made by the company at the 2013 Tokyo Motorshow that it is keen to bring the product in India.The new model is based on the same platform as that of Honda Fit.It will be  produced by the Dong feng Honda reflecting the Chinese version of the Vezel , yet some changes have been made to the XR-V at its rear portion to give a completly new look.The slimmer tail-lamps and restyled bumperand a  different front and back, including a sleeker grille and more rectangular styled taillights adds stylish look to the compact SUV.It will be available in two petrol variants with displacement worth 1.5- and 1.8-litres,both gets mated to a 5-speed manual or CVT.The XR-V is 4275mm long, 1770mm wide and 1605mm high,while the car sits on the wheelbase measuring 2610mm. Comfortness is provided in such a way it is spacious enough to accomodate upto five passengers.Such a compact SUV would compete with Peugeot 2008, Chevrolet Trax and Suzuki Vitara.

Next Attempt of Hyundai India to bring iX25-compact SUV

Hyundai India  plans to launch the new ix25 in the fast growing compact SUV segment in the next year.It is expected to arrive at the price tag ranging from Rs7.5-Rs11 lakhs.It will be available in both petrol and diesel variants,that will be powered up by the 1.4-litre VTVT and the 1.6-litre CRDi diesel respectively.A 1.4 litre VTVT engine will churn out 106 bhp of power and 135 Nm of torque,while 1.6 litre diesel engine would deliver up to 126 bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque.Efficient mileage will come up to 17km/pl for petrol variant and 22 km/pl for diesel variant.Both the manual and automatic transmission are available. Regarding the dimensions of the car,it won’t extend more than  4-meters in length,while the width would measure up to 1780 mm.The car measures 1630 mm height and wheelbase would measures up to 2590 mm. The production model will look different from the ix25 Concept showcased at the Auto China 2014.With the unique Fluidic Sculpture design 2.0 as standard,it would take on  the likes of Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport.

Suzuki’s new Vitara is formally out

Piaggo set to launch Vespa variants in fuel-injected mode

Suzuki Hayate is to be launched with some refreshment

Suzuki has plans to release the refreshed version of Hayate  commuter motorcycle in the upcoming  festive season.By introducing some cosmetic changes,the refreshed Hayate is expected to receive well by the  middle aged buyers in the Indian market.However the mechanical specifications remains untouched.It is said to be available in the following color shades-metallic lush green, pearl mira red, glass sparkle black (red graphics), black sparkle black (blue graphics), pearl moonstone grey and pearl mirage white.The exterior design that is full painted with attractive design proves to the distinct factor that differentiates the upcoming model from its base.Introduction of tubeless tyres with broad rims is considered to be the another change brought about by the company.The basic rider interface with analogue speedometer and black and white dials are hard to miss. The new model shares the  engine with its predecessor that is powered by the 112 cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 8.3 bhp of power and 8.8 Nm of torque.The four-speed gearbox gets mated to this engine.Along with the provision of fuel-tank that holds upto 8.5 litres,usable reserve of two litres is also being added with it.

Expect the Hero’s latest HX250R in November

It has been revealed that the Hero  MotoCorp has planned to launch the latest Hero HX250R in the month of November.It is a light-weight,stunner and powerful quarter litre motorcycle from the company’s stable as the joint venture of Hero Motocorp, America’s Eric Buell Racing (EBR), AVL (Austria) and Engines Engineering..A 249 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine churning out 31 PS of peak power  and  26Nm of torque rating.For the first time,Hero found to sport out a six-speed constant mesh transmission unit to which the mill gets mated to it.The fuel capacity would hold up to 12.5 litres. Hero HX250R  weighing at 139 kg tends to supply an impressive power to weight ratio of 223PS/ton,thus producing 6PS more than Honda CBR250R .Twin telescopic hydraulic shock absorbers  comes at the  front,while the rear end gets monoshock absorber.The Hx250R gets 17×2.75 inch alloy wheel up front with 110/80R – 17 rubber and 17 x 4.0 inch alloy wheels with 140/70R-17 rubber on the rear wheel.The common thing that unites both the front and rear is the tubeless tyres that shield these tyres.Its prominent features include twin-headlights, large windscreen and under seat exhaust.Further,tubular chassis and trellis shaped swing arm adds as a spice to its design.
