The 2015 Honda CBR 150 R has launched in Indonesia.It is sure that the new version of the Honda CBR 150 R will soon make its entry in India in the early next year.The bike gets powered by the same 149.4 cc single cylinder,four-stroke,liquid cooled engine that tends to power the existing CBR 150 R.The power train would deliver up to the maximum torque of 13 Nm at 7,500 rpm but the power that is being produced at 17.1 PS is slightly lower than the existing model(17.8 PS).The bike is about to get some subtle changes that comes in the form of fairing,new truss frame and pro-link suspension.The fairing concept is mainly inspired from that of the CBR 300R. Further the bike gets the twin-headlamp set,newly designed foot-peg that has changed from the current steel pipe set-up.With all such features it will face a tough competition against the upgraded Yamaha R15 and Pulsar 200 SS,which are also expected to be arrived at the same time.

Suzuki has finally announced the prices of Gixxer 155cc motorcycle. The bike is priced Rs72,199 (ex-showroom Delhi). The On road Price of Suzuki Gixxer across major cities in India are

KTM has launched the RC390 and RC200 finally in India. The bikes are priced Rs1.60 lakhs (RC200) and Rs2.05 lakhs (RC390). The prices indicated here are ex-showroom price, Delhi. These are introductory prices and prices may head norther in coming months.

Mumbai Prices are

KTM RC200 – Rs1.64 Lakhs –> Rs1.80 lakhs (on-road price)

KTM RC390 – Rs2.13 lakhs –>Rs 2.30 lakhs (on-road price)

For the first time,India is about to get this offer in the sportsbike segment in the name of RC 390 and RC 200 from the top selling company KTM.  When you consider the case of KTM RC 390,It will be powered by the 373.2 cc single cylinder four- stroke liquid cooled engine that churns out 44bhp of power that get transmitted to the rear wheels via chain drive. This engine gets mated with a six-speed gearbox. With the presence of disc brakes at the front and the rear, braking power is so efficient. Though it weighs about 147 kg, it is the lightest motorcycle in the segment with good power to weight ratio. Fuel-tank will hold up to 10 litres giving
non-stop mileage up to 250kms.

For safety concerns ,ABS is being provided as a standard. Further the bike sports out twin projector headlamps, angular fairing style and daylight running lamps that gives the RC 390 a feel of looking at a sports bike. Moreover, it possess upside down front fork suspension, monoshock rear suspension and powder-coated tubular space frame made from steel tubes. Today KTM has  launched the RC 390 and RC 200 in the price range of Rs 2.05 lakhs and Rs1.6 lakhs respectively.these models are specifically designed for the sports spectrum.The appeal of sportsbike is enhanced with the reception of DRL while the feel of having sharper motorcycle with the id of the slightly altered chassis. Further angular fairing with twin headlamps add as a flavour to the exterior cues of  RC 390 and RC 200.The RC 390 would replace Duke 390.

 

 

Following the success launch of the Celerio, enabled with the AMT Transmission that well match with the urban driving conditions,Maruti plans to bring out the  automatic version of the Swift by 16th September.With an increase in the demand for automatic versions ,Swift will come with an  smoother and more refined 4-speed automatic unit,whereas the AMt unit will get fitted i to its smaller vehicles but it’s not sure that whether the hatchback segment would comes under this shade.Further,Alto 800 facelift is also scheduled to be launch in the last quarter of 2014 between October and December.The price will be slightly higher than that of the current model.We can also expect the Alto K10 AMT in the first quarter of 2015.

 

Apart from the launch of the Fazer FI version 2,the idea of of introducing the semi-faired concept of the aforementioned bike will soon come into picture by the end of September.The price range can fall between Rs85,000-Rs 90,ooo,ex-showroom.Mechanically there are no changes,the same 149 cc air-cooled fuel-injected engine that tends to power the the current version has been invoked to power up the semi-fired generation.However there is a slight difference in the power and the torque figures that is  found to be 13.1 PS (12.9 bhp) and 12.8 Nm of torque which are lower than the current bike’s figures of 14 PS (13.8 bhp) and 13.6 Nm.Dual headlamps now comes with the kinks at the bottom.

Sportier appeal is gained through the faux air scoops that lies at the bottom of the fairing and a new set of racy decals set to give the bike a nice fit and finish.Further the prominent features of the bike includes the split seats, new silencer, redesigned instrument console, a tyre-hugging rear splatter guard and a new rear license plate holder,which are to be shared with that of current Fazer FI 2.0.Now,it is expected to be available  in three color schemes-White Cloud, Black Hawk and Red Dawn.With the implementation of the new fuel-injected mode into the upcoming product to further enhance the performance,Yamaha will take on the likes of TVS Apache 160 RTR, New Honda 160 cc motorcycle.

The spy shots of the Repsol edition of the Honda CBR 150 R  has been revealed even before its launch which is expected to happen in the next year.The sales of the new 2015 CBR 150 get to be started with  the Indonesian market,followed by the global roll out.Plans have also been made to commence its sale in India,but the exact launch date is unknown.Decision lies in the hands of Indian Arms.On looking at the spy picture, the CBR 150  gets the split dual headlamps as a standard  giving the bike a more pleasing appeal that what we expected.Little bit changes are seen in the form of windscreen that is taller than the current model also the turn indicators are found very close to the headlamps.The design of the front fascia that is inspired from the CBR 30o  gives the upcoming bike not only  well-balanced look but also the sober nature that tends to compensate its aggressiveness.

 

Hero MotorCorp has silently launched the Splendor Pro Classic in India at Rs53,900.The despatch of the cafe race-styled motorcycle to the dealers will soon be started in the coming weeks.the The evolution of this product araises mainly due to the inspiration effect that is being imposed by Royal Enfield’s cafe racer,Continental GT.A 97.2 cc air cooled unit is designed to power up at the rate of 7.7PS and 8.04 Nm.This powertrain gets mated with a 4-speed manual gearbox .Cafe racer styled fuel tank gives the bike such an impressive look.The styling cue is described by the prominent headlamps that get adorned with orange indicators,tail-lamps and chrome-finished mirrors on each side and split handlebars.The front and rear fenders,suspension ,mudguard and silencer are garnished in chrome.Also,the spoke wheels  adds as an highlight to the bike.
