  •    Diamond White
  • Fiery Black
  • Mist Silver
  • Molten Red
  • Regal Blue

Among the given color shades,last two are new to this Scorpio entry,whereas the new variants that is to be introduces includes S2, S4, S6, S8 and S10.Let’s have an overlook at each variant.

First one is the S2,an  entry level variant,comes with 7 and 9 seater configuraton.It has been designed with the m2DiCr engine.Secondly comes the S4,that is similar to that of prior variant S2,that is entry level variant with 7 and 9 seater arrangement that too side facing configuration.The main thing that differentiates the two is the engine.The variant S4 is said to be powered by the mHawk engine.

Today on wards the bookings for the new Mahindra Scorpio  starts,for which the launch date is to be fixed on September 25th.It is expected to fall under the price brackets ranging from Rs8.5 lakhs to 13 lakhs,ex-showroom.A special provision has been given for the  Scorpio customers,with which they can  pre-book Mahindra  Scorpio between September 15-17,while others have the option of booking  it only from September 18th.

Honda has set to launch Honda CBR by 2015 (Scoop)

Honda plans to launch the CBR 300 R in the early next year to replace the CBR 250R.The production line will be set-up by November.It is expected to price at Rs2.30 lakhs(on-road,Mumbai)for the ABS equipped variant.Unlike the older model which inherits the styling from the the VFR,CBR 300 R is to be designed with styling cues that reflects the heritage of CBR. Though CBR 300R gets the  engine from CBR250 R,its displacement has been increased to 286 cc thus tends to be faster than its earlier model through the deliver of 35 bhp of power and 29 Nm of torque.Each and every segment,Honda faces a tough competition against Hero,even in the next year,CBR 300 R seems to face the tough competition against Hero HX250R,which is also to be launched in the same year.

Bajaj  might launch the fuel-injected version of the Pulsar 200 NS in India which has been under testing for a long time.If this happens,then 200NS FI version will be the only fuel-injected motorcycle in the company’s portfolio and will be priced over the carburetted version thus becoming flagship model in India.There will no changes in case of design and mechanical specifications,except for the implementation of  fuel-injected system in place of current carburetor.Further newer technologies have also been tried out like that of Duke 200 to keep a tab on the overall costs.As mentioned earlier,the same 199 cc single-cylinder engine is fitted to the bike to deliver the power up to the maximum of 23bhp of power and 18Nm of torque.Recently it has been launched in Indonesia and its sales is being going on with the Kawasaki branding only through the Kawasaki dealership network.

 

Suzuki plans to launch new Gixxer based motorcycle by 2015

After the successful  launch of the Suzuki Gixxer,the company has plans to produce the new motorcycle that underpins the base Suzuki Gixxer,which now became the flagship model in India.The proceedings are going on to bring out the product in the early next year.It is to be designed with the new 155 cc single cylinder,SOHC,air-cooled and carburetted engine that gets mated to a 5-speed transmission unit.
