Honda launched the update version of CB unicorn today in India. The new version termed as CB Unicorn as the name implies comes with an  163cc  engine producing 14.5bhp of maximum power and 14.89kgm of peak torque. It comes with 5-speed transmission and Honda claims cb unicorn is capable of reaching 106kmph and average mileage under standard conditions is 62kmpl. CB Unicorn 160 standard comes with a front disc brake and rear drum setup is priced at Rs 69,350 and the CB Unicorn 160 equipped with a Combi-Brake system costs Rs 74,414. Both the prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

CB Unicorn 160 will take on suzuki gixxer, yamaha fz v2.0, Bajaj Pulsar and TVS Apache 160.

The production version of Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS with ABS,the first fully faired motorcycle from the company,was spotted without any camouflage in India.It is be noted that it has been caught out many times on road but fully covered,it is for the first time the spy shots are revealed without any camouflage.The Pulsar 200 SS  has been slotted higher than the Pulsar 200NS and below the KTM RC 200.The position that has been slotted lower than RC 200 implies that the power that is 23.2bhp of power and 18.3Nm of torque  on the Pulsar 200 SS might slightly be lower when compared to the RC 200.This power is drawn from the same 199.6cc engine that seems to power up the current Pulsar 200 NS.While the features like dual projector headlamps,clip-on handlebars and a short side-slang exhaust shows that the styling cues are highly inspired from the Bajaj Pulsar 400 SS concept,which was unveiled at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo.Expected to be priced aggressively between Rs1.2 and Rs1.5 lakhs,ex-showroom,Pulsar 200 SS is likely to compete with Hero Karizma R,Yamaha R15 and KTM RC 200.Along with the ABS variant,we could also expect the company to launch a non-ABS version too,with considerably heavier engine at any anytime in the coming weeks or months.

 

 

The prototype motorcycle from the famous TVS-BMW collaboration was spied out revealing its rear part a few days ago in Germany.Though the technical details are not yet known,we have somehow manged to get some details regarding the engine that is the 300 cc engine which has been co-developed by BMW and TVS is about to power up the bike.From the statement made by BMW’s head of motorcycles,Stephan Schellar,there prevails a belief that this first BMW-TVS motorcycle might be unveiled within a year most probably at the 2015 EICMA or the 2015 Intermot show.Further he said,”The small capacity bikes are still on target for us in terms of the timetable which means this time next year the bikes will be presented. We will keep the original timing, but maybe we have to put a little bit more resource into this to keep with the schedule. In one year’s time I think we can start talking about the new bikes. The design and engineering are done by BMW in Munich and then TVS is doing much of the work to get these bikes ready for production.”

Now taking a close look at these spyshots,the raised foot pegs and the aggressive riding position gives us an idea that this motorcycle is meant for fully-faired sportsbike.In addition to this,BMW might develope  three models street fighter,sports bike and adventure based on the same platform in the 1000 cc bikes.

Ford has already unveiled the Figo compact sedan at the 2014 Auto Expo.Now,as a second innings,the next generation Figo is about to make its debut in India,by the next year,whose spy shots has been spotted for the first time in Pune, Maharashtra.However,this hatchback has made a good start in Brazil in the name of Ford Ka(Left Hand Drive),garnering over 7,000 bookings in the launch month of September.Besides,the India-bound right hand drive version was caught in Brazil,too.Here are the spied out images that has been caught in Brazil.

Further,Ford has plans to start a second manufacturing facility by April 1,2015 in Sanand,Gujarat for both the Figo hatchback and Figo sedan(sub-4m).According to an earlier report,it is to be known that the car is going to use the “Figo” moniker as it has a high recall value,while the aforementioned statement also makes this fact a crystal clear.While  focussing on the engine options,a little changes are to be made whereas the platform remain to be the same.When the view gets trimmed down to the changes made to the engine department,the 1.5 litre diesel engine will be shared with the Fiesta,yet the 1.2-litre petrol unit(only used by the Figo)will be replaced by a fully-localized 1-litre engine(based on the Ecoboost but without a turbo).Expected to arrive at an attractive price tag that falls between the range of Rs3.5 and Rs5.5 lakhs,Ford Figo hatchback is about to compete with Hyundai Grand i10,Maruti Celerio,Chevrolet Beat,Honda Brio and Tata Kite.

Apart from these products,Ford has been preparing to launch another product that is the new Ford Endeavour, hence by the next year the Ford is about to give  an excitement to the customers with the launch of three products.
