Following the launch of new Fiesta,Ford will soon launch its Automatic variant.The Automatic variant will hit the showrooms in the second week of November 2011.The diesel Fiesta will get a five speed automatic gear box and will help the Ford against the likes of Hyundai Verna Automatic and Volkswagen Vento AT.The Fiesta AT is likely to be priced Rs.80,000 to 1 lakh higher than the existing manual variant.

The luxury car maker Skoda is now planning for the launch of a new variant of its luxury sedan Superb,christened the Elegance.As like the existing Superb,its new variant will also be available in three engine options such as 1.8 TSI petrol, 2.0 TDI diesel and 3.2 V6 petrol and two transmission options namely Manual and Automatic.The car lags certain features like six airbags and dual zone climate control.The new Elegance will be available at a starting price of Rs.17 lakhs(Ex-showroom,Delhi).We can expect the new car in India by the end of December.

The German auto major BMW is to bring its small luxury car,Mini in India in 2012.The 80-year old brand car would be sold in India through import of completely built units(CBU).BMW plans for an aggressive price of more than Rs.25 lakhs for Mini in India.

Pbrenault is all set to launch the pulse in the indian market. Renault will launch the pulse at india’s first f1 race in delhi. Renault pulse will share the micra platform from the engine to dashboard to mechanical parts. Renault pulse is identical to pulse in terms of weight and thereby mileage. Renault pulse gets the micra’s 1.2l engine and 1.5l diesel engine.

The all-new BMW 3-series has been revealed which features an unified appearance and holds many features similar to BMW 5-series.The new car will be shown off at the Detroit motor show in early 2012.BMW will offer the new 3-series at an aggressive price tag of Rs.22-35 lakhs.

Renault,the French automaker plans to launch its Modus mini-MPV soon in India.It features an unconventional and uniquely unappealing looks.It may feature the same 1.2-litre petrol engine and the 1.5-litre dCi engine of Fluence delivering 75bhp of maximum power,104Nm of max torque and 63bhp of maximum power,160Nm of max torque respectively.We can expect the Modus to be launched at the Indian Grand Prix in the last week of October,in Delhi.

Skoda Rapid is to go on sale from this November onwards.Many of its interior bits are shared with VW Vento.It features the same four-spoke steering wheel of Fabia and Laura.The headlights,grille and fogs present are also similar to the Fabia.Rapid features a longer bonnet,the new fender and slightly altered chin at the corners.It is to compete with Toyota Etios,Maruti Swift Dzire,Ford Fiesta,Hyundai Verna,Honda City and Fiat Linea.No doubt,Skoda will bring the Rapid at a competitive price tag.
