The Japanese car maker Nissan has unveiled its second model MPV,GO+ in Indonesia. The GO+ MPV is based on the platform of its GO hatchback and it is targeted to family buyers.
This 7 seater SUV is powered by 1.2-litre petrol engine which is already employed in Micra as well as the GO.It can achieve the maximum power of 75 Bhp and torque of 104 Nm.It gets the disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.One of the important feature of this MPV is Datsun Mobile Docking Station, which enables smart phone integration into the car.
Go+ MPV will get all the accessories from its Go hatchback. It includes the same 1.2 liter petrol engine, 5 speed manual gearbox, styling of the front and rear, headlamps, tail lamps, dashboard and even the seat fabric and the inner door handles as in the GO.
The Datsun Go+ gets the dimension also same of its Go hatchback. But the length is increased to 210 mm longer than the length of Go hatchback. So the differences between the GO+ MPV and the Go hatchback are seating ,body style and the changes in length.This MPV will compete with the cars like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Chevrolet Enjoy and Mahindra Quanto. It is expected that the MPV would be priced around Rs. 5.5-6 lakh. The GO+ MPV will come to the country by the mid of 2014
