Maruti plans to launch Ciaz in the country by the September of this year. Maruti has showcased this Ciaz (Code name:YL1) sedan at the 2014 Auto Expo. It comes with a glamorous design with a strong sense of stability. Adopting a long wheelbase and a low height gives the concept Ciaz in authentic Sedan style. It will get both the petrol and diesel engine options the 1.4 litre k series petrol and 1.3 litre VGT multijet diesel engine.
Maruti Ciaz will be available in three variants namely L, V and Z. The L variant includes 185/60R15 tyres and steel rims. The variant V gets electronic folding mirrors, 185/60R15 tyres, 16 inch alloy wheels. The Z trim offers 195/55 R16, keyless entry, electronic folding mirrors and also the 16 inch alloy wheels.
It will get automatic head lamps, wipers, climate controls, push button start and also the climate control. It will also include same steering wheel which is available in Ertiga as well as the audio controls. The company will launch this Ciaz in the country by September 2014. It will take on the cars such as Honda City, Volkswagen Vento, Hyundai Verna and the Nissan Sunny.
