Maruti Suzuki plans to roll out the SX4 replacement which is code named as YL1 in late 2014.The YL1 which will replace the SX4, is based on the Ertiga platform
Maruti Suzuki YL1 gets the engine systems which are already employed on the Ertiga. A 1.3-litre Multijet diesel can produce maximum power of 89 Bhp and maximum torque of 200 NM which will be mated to five speed manual gearbox. and a 1.4-litre K14M petrol can develop maximum power and torque of 94 Bhp and130 NM respectively which may be mated to an automatic transmission
It gets features like push button start, keyless entry, puddle lamps, twin AC vents at the rear, leather seats,electric folding rear view mirrors,15 inch alloy wheels etc. We can expect that the YL1 may be priced between Rs 7-9 lakh
