Maruti Suzuki,India’s largest auto maker declared that it has increased the prices of its diesel cars by up to Rs.10,000 in order to compete with the rising input costs.The diesel version of Ritz has been increased up to Rs.2000 and SX4,Swift,Dzire diesel will be Rs.10,000 more than the currently available rate.
Sources informed that there has been a critical upswing in the inputs cost and an adverse appreciation in the Japanese currency yen that had made imports costlier and forced this hike.
