Today Mahindra launched its all new “Gusto” that is available in two models namely Gusto DX priced at Rs 43,000 and Gusto VX priced at Rs 47,000.Both the prices are ex-showroom prices ,Delhi.
The 109.6cc single cylinder, air-cooled all aluminium M-TEC motor will power up the the scooter. Factors like superior power, efficiency and reliability are delivered through the means of MTEC engine. It is said to comprise of a stronger crankshaft and bearings, high inertia magneto, high energy HT coil and series regulator.
The engine gets mated to a CVT transmission unit. The power and the torque figures would come up to 8.2 PS of power and 8.5 Nm of torque.It is to be noted that is the first scooter that gets introduced in this 110 segment from the Indian two-wheeler space. Another interesting cue is that it is the only the Gusto that has the largest wheelbase in the 110 cc segment.
The stability is achieved with the aid of MRF Zappers.For safety concerns,auto-mechanism and flip key are being added.Teh headlamp also gets the LED pilot lamps.Gusto weighs over 120kg than its rivals.Good handling and riding characteristics is achieved through the means of 12-inch wheels and telescopic forks. Further Gusto includes a forward kick start option that enables the riders to have a start without using the main stand.
In addition to the existing features over the standard scooters,the top model VX gets the flip key,find me and follow me lamps and upright seating position.The Gusto weighs over 120kg than its rivals,however the efficiency is drawn up to 63.5 kmpl.
