Hyundai flagship hatchback “i10” is due for a facelift. i10 facelift is Hyundai answer to new competitors like Ford Figo, Nissan Micra and Chevrolet Beat. Though its facelift, the changes will be in tune with customer expectations. The first and major change is the front fascia – i10 will get a new front bumper and sleek headlamps. i10 grille will also get a minor treatment. The wing mirrors (ORVM) gets a new design. The side profile will remain unchanged. On the rear, the styling of rear bumper is set for a change. The most important change however is the new tail lamps which is so appealing (as per the people who have seen the change). Interiors too gets a facelift with blue back-lit for music player. Overall the i10 facelift is said to have 86 new parts (including 8 engine parts). Hyundai i10 facelift may hit the market by Diwali season with a nominal price hike.
