Hyundai,the Korean car manufacturer has launched a new LPG variant of its i10 hatchback in the price range of Rs.4,16,144 to Rs.4,30,659(Ex-showroom,Delhi).The car holds a factory-fitted LPG kit in it.It also features a special LPG tank which provides a larger boot space.
The new variant of i10 is offered with a 1.1 litre iRDE2 engine capable of running on both LPG and petrol variants.Hyundai offers the car with an alternator management system which helps in controlling the delivery of power to the battery and thus extends the life of battery and also improves the mileage.
Mr.H.W. Park,Managing Director and Chief Executive of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., quoted that the LPG version of their next-gen i10 is a viable alternative for customers looking at low running cost.
The company stated that with separate petrol (35 litre) and LPG (34 litre) tanks, the customers have an option to choose from LPG and petrol modes.It also said that the LPG kit in i10 blue drive is impact resistant and is approved by the department of explosives.
