Honda has introduced a new variant, SX of its Amaze Sedan in India. The new variant SX is positioned between its S and VX variants. The SX variant offers both petrol and diesel engine options. The new SX variant includes all the features like the S variant. The only difference between the S and SX is twin airbags and ABS. The petrol version of new SX variant is priced at Rs 6.22 lakh while the price of SX diesel version is Rs 7.12 lakh.
The new SX variant petrol version gets the 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine which can produce maximum power output of 84 bhp. The diesel version has 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine which can develop maximum power output of 98 bhp. The petrol version is available with an automatic gear box option while the petrol version gets manual transmission only.
