Following the unveil of Passion Pro TR & Splendor Pro Classic bike models, Hero also showcased two new concept bikes at the ongoing Auto Expo. iON and SimplEcity are the two new concept bike models.After its launch, SimplEcity will be the first electric motorcycle of India.
Code named “SimplEcity, the bike works on electric power from batteries….and essentially designed for use within cities”, said one of the persons familiar with the development.
The bike gets lightweight battery pack integrated with the seat that can be carried indoor for recharging. A smartphone when docked on the handlebar becomes the dashboard through an app.
