Hero has unveiled Hastur, aggressive street fighter motorcycle concept at 2014 Auto Expo. It is a tubular naked frame bike fitted with twin exhausts like the KTM Duke 200 and Duke 390. Hastur measures 2015mm in length, 820mm in width and 1120mm in height. The overall weight of the bike is 190Kg and minimum ground clearance is 130mm. It can offer a top speed of 240kmph. It can accelerate 0 to100kmph in just 3.8 seconds. The fuel tank capacity of the bike is 15 litre.
It will be powered by 620cc, parallel twin, liquid cooled, four stroke engine with 6 speed manual gearbox. The engine can generate peak power of 78bhp. The power will be transferred from six speed gearbox to rear wheel through an exposed drive chain. It features raised fuel tank, clear lens LED indicators, LED tail lamp, velvet seats for both rider and pavilion. It will also include a trellis frame.
Braking will be done with the help of dual disc brake at the front and single disc brake at rear. Suspension duty will be taken care of USD telescopic forks for front suspension and mono shock trellis swing arm for rear suspension. It will come with 10 spoke alloy wheels with Pirelli tyres fitted with the size of 120/70 R17 at the front and 180/50 R17 rear tyres. The overall weight of the bike is 190Kg.
