GM’s futuristic Spark Electra

General Motors is seen wearing Green goggles on and is now saying that the future is green. Our Indian Reva has to be dormant with its ability to launch itself as a well-known household name of battery run cars and less polluting vehicles. Reva’s Cars are less popular because they make low speeding vehicles. In some cases after crash tests, Reva’s Cars were called as Heavy Quadri-cycles and not Cars. Sensing that, the American has come up to add technological advancements and utilize Reva’s facilities. The Reva in return will be providing GM its expertise in manufacturing Electric Cars. Hence, Chevrolet Spark’s battery sibling will be born as Chevrolet’s Spark-Electra.
The Customers are well aware that the market is not fully ripe for Electric Cars and they know that further technological advancements have to be done in order to avoid technological inconvenience during usage. So they are remaining silent for the moment opting for Fuelectric Hybrids or high mileage diesel variants. In fact, the customers are waiting for technological advancements to take place in the Electric Cars sector.
GM is looking at an initial success of a four thousand to six thousand Electric Cars in India by next year and it expects Electric Cars to occupy 5% of India’s mini car market.
