Ford, the American carmaker has unveiled its 2015 Ford Ka/ Figo car which is based on the Ford Ka concept in Brazil. The 2015 Ford ka/Figo , the second car which will be developed and engineered in Brazil. The company will replace its ka hatchback with the next generation Figo.
The 2015 Figo, code-named as B562 will use a modified platform of current Figo. It is expected that this 2015 Ford Figo would get the engine options like 1 liter EcoBoost turbo petrol engine and the 1.5 liter TDCI turbo diesel engine. Both the engines will be coupled to five speed manual gearbox as a standard.
It is expected that the next generation would be launched in the country by next year or two. The 2015 Figo will be manufactured at the new Ford’s spanking new Sanand factory which is currently under construction at Gujarat. So the next generation model will be the first car from sanand factory.
