Ford has slashed prices of the Classic Sedan in India. It will be reduced the prices of Classic Sedan upto Rs 1 lakh.The Classic is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The engine systems are mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. The petrol version is powered by a 1.6-litre DuraTec engine which can produce maximum power output of 101 bhp and maximum torque of 146 Nm.The 1.4-litre TDCi diesel can produce 68bhp and 160Nm of torque.
Currently the base LXi petrol variant is available for Rs 5.65 lakh. After the price revision, we can expect the price of this petrol variant at Rs 4.99 lakh while the top-end variant, the Titanium petrol will get Rs.5.96 lakh. While the expected prices of diesel variants will be Rs 6.93 lakh, Rs 7.36 lakh,7.97 lakh for the diesel variants like Lxi, CLxi, Titanium respectively.
