Buoyed by the success of its high performance model Yo-speed, Yobyke maker Electrotherm plans to introduce a 1000W version of ebike. Yospeed launched barely a year ago has crossed sales of 10,000 bikes since its launch. Many scooterette users have opted for yospeed for their daily use and to make substantial savings on their monthly fuel bill. To further ride the wave, electrotherm plans a series of high performance electric bikes. “We always prefer to modify existing models. Our research and development team keeps updating the technology. The success of the 75 cc model has encouraged us to enter the higher segment,” Avinash Bhandari, director, Electrotherm India, said. Yobyke maker electrotherm also plans to export electric bikes to other countries such as Nepal, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka
