Datsun unveiled its ‘go’ in India. Datsun ‘go’ will be launched by 2014 and will be price below Rs4,00,000. Datsun ‘go’ will be marketed as go any where car. “This is a historic day for Nissan Motor Company and for our customers and partners in some of the world’s fastest-growing markets. It’s also an exciting moment for many women and men here in India who – today – come one step closer to realizing the dream of purchasing a car,” said Carlos Ghosn, Nissan Motor President and CEO.
Datsun go comes with a generous interior space which comes with 2450mm of wheelbase. Datsun will be powered 1.2 petrol engine which is the same engine powering the micra. But the expect the engine to churn out lesser power for the sake of better fuel efficiency. Its mated with a 5-speed transmission.

The dimensions of Datsun go are width – 1635mm, height – 1485mm, length – 3785mm and a wheelbase of 2450mm. Like the nissan micra, Datsun go will come with few first-in-class features like mobile docking Station to connect with their smartphones.
