Car Accessories – Stickering

Give me Red – auto graphics and stickering:

With all this in place you can now let your imagination run wild with regard to the painting and markers on the car. The body paints are hugely inspired by NFS which has a huge collection to steal from. One can use this to accentuate subtle accessories. There is no real formula in this regard as what works for one car may not work for the next. There seems to be two styling approaches, one very subtle making the car look like an understated supercar and the other is to be as freakish as possible. Dark themes and/or plain colours are commonly seen in the first approach, where (more often than not) the cars are tuned. Party colours like cyan, fluorescent green and orange dominate the second approach. The way someone turns (pun intended, yet again) his/her car tells a lot about the person in terms of taste, attitude and what not. Speaking of attitude, you can give everyone a piece of your mind with your very own ‘bumper quote’. A good bumper quote is either funny or flaunts attitude. Even a stinky municipal truck that cleans septic tank can have a bumper quote like this – “Smells like a money to me”.

This is a rally inspired customization. In this sort of theme people who follow the racing world closely (or don’t) use decals to show off their interest in the sport or to flaunt their car’s performance, which in some cases will be tuned. In general this is a very visual method to make your car stand out.

In our childhood every one of us were interested in colours and paint. Automobile enthusiast being young at heart bring out this child inside them to play on their cars. The NFS inspiration is unmistakable and the stickering so ‘in your face’, for a second you forget what car it really is. In some cases stickers accenuating certain features of the car also used, like flames near the wheel arches and 3 dimensional cracks on the surface where a spoiler is attached for example.

One doesn’t always need to overdo the stickering and symmetry is not mandatory either, but one has to keep the motive clear whether to add a subtle change or to give a complete facelift.
