DTSi- Digital twin spark ignition to Digital triple sparks ignition
Bajaj Pulsar 200NS is sure to start a new chapter in the performance motorcyling segment in India. Bajaj claims the pulsar 200NS is first bike to use triple spark to burn the gasoline-air mixture. While the DTSi – digital twin spark plug used two spark plugs in a cylinder, pulsar 200NS uses three spark plugs which means 15% better combustion than the former. The underbelly exhaust is sure to provide to better bottom end. Bajaj claims the pulsar 200NS returns a mileage of 58kmpl (at 55kmph). Multiplying the fuel efficiency and fuel tank capacity (12L), 696km is the range of the pulsar 200NS. Bajaj though makes performance bikes always have a concern for mileage which is why the pulsar still holds the edge. No body wants to burn the pocket even they love to burn some rubber. Isn’t it.
