To be blessed with the Japanese apex manufacturer for the engine and the design, the car is scheduled for production in Gurgaon plant to resemble the Ritz fora. Maruti is planning to fix the car with the latest 1.2 K-series engine and code named as YP8 with the explorations on for the design, engine and the interiors. Maruti is thriving to display the car possibly in the ensuing Auto expo in Delhi but not finalised yet on the price.
The move will be a roundabout indigenous making of the cars by Maruti to steer for a right direction. Thus the company may accrue a lot by way of savings from the royalty paid to the Japan apex company. The move will also save the company from introducing new platforms, which normally yield a lot of expenditures.
