Honda to restart deliveries of Brio and Jazz

The famous Brio and Jazz models of Honda are now ready to knock the doors of its interested buyers. Yes! Honda is to restart the deliveries of Brio and Jazz from this February and the bookings of the cars are to be closed next month.

The company was hardly struggling with the shortage of components due to the last year’s Tsunami and Earthquake of Japan followed by the floods in Thailand. Hence, it starts its path to increase its sales by opening a second facility at Tapukara, Rajasthan which is also almost ready for production.

Regarding this, Mr. Jnaneswar Sen, Senior Vice-President (Marketing & Sales) of HSCI reported, “We have resumed two shift operations from February 15. We will have production of 370 cars per day from today and from next week it will ramp up to 440 units per day”.

Sen also said, “We are confident to achieve peak production output in March 2012. Honda has taken all the necessary recovery actions to normalize production situation with critical components now being sourced from Japan & China”.
