Yamaha, the Japanese motorcycle manufacturer plans to launch an updated version of FZ-S in the country. The updated FZ-S has spotted testing at Greater Noida. The company has already showcased this FZ-S version 2 at the 2014 Auto Expo. The updated version FZ-S gets more changes in technical specifications rather than the cosmetic changes. The updated Yamaha FZS offers a new tail light, exhaust, split seats, clear lens indicators as well as number plate holder. The company plans to introduce a very powerful engine on this updated model.
It will include redesigned 170cc engine which can churn out 17 Ps of maximum power output. The new engine can generate greater torque output than the current engine. The updated version will enter into the country by August of this year. It will take on the models such as Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS, Honda CB Trigger and the upcoming Suzuki Gixxer.
The company also plans to update its all products namely R15, sporty bike and also the Ray scooter. Yamaha has been working on an updated version of YZF R15 V3 which will get an Engine Control Unit (ECU) as a major upgrade. We can expect the launch of YZF R15 V3 by the end of this year.
