Yamaha MT-125, a new model of MT series motorcycle which is the first in the street fighter category. The MT-125, street fighter bike is based on fully faired YZF R125. It measures 1955mm in length, 740mm in width and 1040mm in height. The wheelbase and ground clearance are 1355mm and 140mm respectively. It will get Steel Delta box chassis type. It will be available in three color options red, grey and blue. MT-125 gets 125cc, single cylinder, liquid cooled, 4 stroke engine with constant mesh 6 speed gearbox. The engine can churn out maximum power of 15PS at 9000rpm and maximum torque of 12.4Nm at 8000rpm. It is equipped with 292mm disc brake at the front and 230mm disc brake at the rear. It gets Y shaped alloy wheels with 17-inch tyres. Suspension duty can be done with the help of upside down forks at the front and linked mono shock with spring pre-load adjustment. The Japanese two wheeler manufacturer will launch this MT-125, street fighter bike globally by July 2014. We can expect the price of MT 125 at Rs.1,50,000.
