Benelli, one of the oldest Italian motorcycle manufacturers set to make its debut in India with the entry level motorcycle christened BN302. Design traits are inspired from its sibling BN600, tends to attract the youngsters.The bike is sculpted on a steel trellis frame. Though it is compact in size, it looks muscular and sturdy look.It is built upon 300cc, parallel-twin engine, fed by a fuel injection system.Maximum of 37HP of power at 11,500 RPM and peak torque of 27.1 Nm at 9000 RPM,is drawn from this mill that gets mated to a 6-speed transmission unit.Fuel consumption is greatly reduced with the fuel tank capacity that holds up to 17-liters.The suspension system consists of 41 mm inverted hydraulic-damping front forks and shock absorber with spring preload adjustment at the rear,with an intention to provide a fine balance between quality ride and handling.Twin 260 mm disc brakes at the front and a single 240 mm disc brake at the rear supports in the provision of effective braking performance.Benelli BN302,with the kerb weight of 185 kg, runs on the 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 120/70 tyres at the front and 160/60 tyres at the rear.For comfortable riding posture,tall handlebars and wide seats have been offered. provided It will be available in the color shades of orange and white.
