The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 180 has been propelled at Rs.79,545, which is around Rs.3,000 more than the past model. The new model gets inconspicuous corrective updates and BSIV complaint engines; notwithstanding, the general profile continues as before. The bike gets wolf eyed projector headlamp with twin pilot lamps, all new laser edged graphics with premium new paint, Gun metal engine color and new decals for alloys. It is equipped with new carbon fiber accents and aerodynamic fairing and 15-litre fuel tank. Other design elements include clip-on handlebar, electric start and engine kill switch. Powering the motorcycle is a 178.6cc, 4-stroke, DTS-i, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is capable of producing 17.02PS of power at 8,500rpm along with a peak torque of 14.22Nm at 6,500rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheels via a 5-speed gearbox. It comes equipped with a 230mm disc brake at the rear, which will help Bajaj to fix the model with ABS. Other changes include a blue back-lit display for the instrument cluster, new decals on the rim and revised seats cushion. The handlebar and the headlamp mask now get matte black finish.
