History of Actual Vehicle:

The race named 24 Hours of Le Mans was first run in May 1923, through public roads around Le Mans.

The Audi R8 No.3 "Champion Racing Team" was driven to a historic victory by JJ Lehto, Marco Werner and Tom Kristensen in June 2005 Le Mans in front of over 230,000 spectators and approximately 2,000 media representatives. Audi R8 was developed by Audi Motorsport and Joest Racing and first debuted in 2000, winning the 12 Hours of Sebring, and then went on to win Le Mans five times (2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005) and thus creating a unique history.

It was powered by a 3.6 L twin-turbocharged and intercooled Audi FSI V8. FSI stands for Fuel-Stratified Injection, which is a variation on the concept of petrol direct injection developed by VW which maximizes both power and fuel economy at the same time.
