Mahindra’s next generation Bolero code named as U301 was spied under testing in Chennai.Here are some spy shots of the new gen UV,thanks to indianautosblog site, suggesting that it is based on the new modular hydroformed ladder frame chassis while the boxy shape is retained.It is to be noted that for the first time,this new chassis frame has made its debut in the new Scorpio.Being a sub-4-meter product it will be positioned between the smaller S101 and the Scorpio.The obvious fact is the usage of 1.5-or 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engine that has been designed by the Mahindra in association with its South Korean subsidiary Ssangyong.Thus with the aid of new platform over which the improved version has been built ,would enable the Bolero to take the likes of its rivals that include Tata Sumo and Chevrolet Tavera.Expect this new Bolero in the late 2015,with the price rate that would range between Rs 6 and Rs 8 lakhs ,ex-showroom.
