Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India(HMSI) has unveiled that they would launch the CB Unicorn 160 this year.It has been done with a goal to regain their lost spot in the 150-180 cc commuter segment in India.Here we laid you with the spy pics of the upcoming bike,picture credits to the bike wale site .Concerning the engine options,it is expected that it might get a single-cylinder 160cc four-stroke mill,which could deliver the power of more than 14hp.This 14hp of power is being produced by the current 150cc motor engine that gets mated to a five-speed transmission.This gearbox would be carried straight away to the upcoming bike.
When it comes with the design traits,it is highly inspired from that of the CX-01 concept that has been showcased earlier at the Auto Expo earlier this year.Though the conventional handlebars and the bikini fairing that encompasses the headlamps implies that looks are similar to that of the current CB Unicorn and Trigger siblings,there are many mre changes made to the exterior styling.Especially the front fender is revised and front disc brake has been employed.All new instrumental console has been introduced.The fuel tank has been sculpted with Honda wings logo,it gets some compact shrouds too.The side panel also gets revamps in the form of silver-embellishment that spread across the fuel knob lever.Further,the rear panels are also new that doesn’t carry any baging other than ‘CB Unicorn 160.All these modifications tend to give the CB Unicorn 160 all new subtle and decent look.
To enhance the seating comfort,the seats are made wide and a grab rail is attached at the back,that makes both the rider and pillion comfortable.The rear part gets a mono-shock suspension setup and a hugger tyre.Besides,the bike gets a heel-toe-shifter, a fully-covered chain guard, a neatly designed saree guard and revamped tail lamps.Feature packed with exciting features,this powerful yet fuel-efficient is about to take on the likes of the rivals that include the recently launched FZ V2.0 and TVS Apache RTR 160.
