Royal Enfield has launched Continental GT in the UK. It is expected that the launch of Continental GT will be the month of October during the festive season. It is to be priced over Rs 2 lakh approximately. It has also introduced ‘Burn-up Wear’ a set of motorcycle riding gear.

It gets 535 cc air cooled four stroke engine which uses a bigger piston for the larger displacement. It can deliver the maximum power of 29.1bhp and maximum torque of 4000 rpm. It offers top speed of 160 km/hr. It will come with new body work. It looks racier than the retro street bike which is one of Royal Enfield motorcycles. The engine is mated to a 5 speed gear box and it can be powered by either the kick start or electric start.

It receives a 13.5 liter fuel tank, a speedometer and tachometer. The GT 535 features aluminum rims and smaller mud guards. It gets disc brakes at both the front and rear.

Toyota has rolled out limited edition models of its Etios and Liva and badged as ‘Xclusive’.It receives a higher quality seat fabric ,audio system with Bluetooth option, rear parking sensors, ‘Xclusive’ badge on the boot lid and a chrome cap on the gear knob.

“Xclusive Edition” offers both petrol and turbo diesel engine options.The Etios gets 1.5 litre petrol engine which is able to produce maximum power at 90 Ps and torque of 132 Nm and 1.4 litre D-4D turbo diesel engine which can develop the power of 68 Ps and torque of 170 Nm and five speed manual gear box.

The Liva gets 1.2 petrol engine which produce maximum power output of 80 Ps and torque of104 Nm and the 1.4 litre D-4D turbo diesel engine can deliver the maximum power and torque of 68 Ps and 170 Nm respectively.

The Etios and Liva Xclusive editions are available with colors like white, grey and silver. The price details are not revealed yet but we can expect the price of this Xclusive edition is Rs 20,000 higher than the current model.

Skoda plans to launch 2013 Octavia with three engine options in India. We can expect the launch of this car by the first week of October. Active, Ambition and Elegance are the available variants with 2013 Skoda Octavia.

The 1.8 liter turbo petrol engine can produce maximum power 177 Bhp and maximum torque of 250 Nm and it is mated to 7 speed dual clutch automatic gear box.
The 2 liter turbo diesel engine can able to develop maximum power of 150 Bhp and torque of 20 Nm which will be standard on the 2013 Octavia. This variant offers both automatic and manual gearbox options.
It also gets 1.4 litre turbo petrol engine which is mated to 6 speed manual gear box. It can deliver maximum power output of 140 bhp and torque of 250 Nm.

Mahindra has rolled out a Special Edition of its Scorpio SUV in order to increase its sales during the festive season.This Special Edition is limited to 500 models only.

This Special Edition gets features like dual tone leather seats, leather covered steering wheel, shift knob, high-gloss wood trim on the dashboard, an integrated roof-mounted DVD player with a drop-down 9-inch screen and centre console. It also gets chrome alloy wheels and dual front air bags.

It gets 2.2 liter mHawk turbo diesel engine which can produce maximum power of 120 bhp at 4000 rpm and maximum torque of 290 Nm. The engine is mated to five speed manual gear box. The price detail of this special edition is not revealed yet. We can expect the price of this special edition will be more than the current top end variant.

TVS plans to launch a new scooter on 16th of September 2013.This new scooter is based on the platform of Wego. The expected price of this upcoming scooter is Rs 50,000.The launch will happen in Chennai and it is expected that the deliveries of this vehicles will begin by the end of September.

It gets same 110cc engine which already employed in Wego.The engine can develop the maximum power of 8 bhp and maximum torque of 8 Nm and it is mated toV-matic transmission

It can provide the space for full faced helmet under the seat.The fuel filler is placed at the rear in order to fill the fuel without opening the seat.We can expect that it offers all specifications like front disc brake body balance as in Wego.

Ford has increased the price of its EcoSport by around Rs 30,000 to 40,000, depends on the variant. The car maker has hiked the price due to such factors like inflation, high interest rate and the falling of rupee value.

Toyota has revealed details of Hybrid-R concept for its Yaris which will be unveiled by next week. Yaris uses “Super Capacitor” which is developed for Toyota TS030 Le Mans racer offers quick charge and discharge speed and higher power density.

It gets four cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged engine which can produce the maximum power of 300 bhp and maximum torque of 420 Nm to the front wheels while the rear wheels are driven by two electric motors. Both electric motors can develop the combined power output of 120bhp for five seconds when the track mode is active. During this time period, Hybrid-R concept can deliver maximum power output of 420 bhp.

It also gets third electric motor which is positioned between the conventional power unit and the six speed gear box. It works as a traction control system redirecting torque as electric energy to the rear axle.

The driver can also select the Road mode simply by pressing the button. It will manage the distribution of energy and reduce the output of petrol motor.Energy distribution leads to increase in fuel efficiency and to reduce Co2 emissions.

Japanese auto maker, Honda announced its new design concept “EXCITING H DESIGN!!!” which will be applied to all Honda vehicles. The three exclamation symbol in the name of design concept denotes three factors like ‘High Tech’, ’High Tension’ and ‘High Touch’. The all new Honda Fit models are the first to get this new design concept. Honda will apply this new design concept in order to give more unique designs on its vehicles around the world.

‘High Tech’ expresses an innovative spirit. ‘High Tension’ stands for beautiful body structure and layout.‘High Touch’ represents finely-honed surfacing and texture. Honda will reveal more unique designs by considering these three factors.

Ford plans to introduce a right hand drive version in order to celebrate its 50th anniversary of Mustang. The car maker plans to unveil the revised Mustang at New York Auto Show on April 17, 2014.We can expect the launch of this car by early 2015.

It plans to launch the right hand drive version in the countries like Australia and the UK. It also plans to roll out the Mustang in India. The current generation Mustang offers three engine options like 3.7-litre V6, 5.0-litre Mustang GT and 5.8-litre supercharged V8.

The Mustang will be the first car which is based on upcoming S550 platform, is expected to offer three engine options. The engine options are 2.3 litre ecoboosted four cylinder engine and 5.0 litre V8 which can deliver the maximum power of 350hp and 450 hp respectively.
