Honda unveils Vision XS-1 concept SUV

The Japanese car manufacturer Honda has unveiled its new concept car known as Vision XS-1 which enables the manufacturer to get in to a new compact SUV segment. The new car will compete with some other popular compact SUVs such as Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster.

The new Vision XS-1 has been developed on the basis of Honda’s original Man Maximum Machine Minimum philosophy and it fuses two different values of sporty exterior styling and spaciousness together in a compact body. It is expected to have three rows with seven seats along with sliding doors and large openings in a compact car.

The Vision XS-1 will form the basis for a generation of vehicles as it has been laid out as the proposal for a next generation vehicle featuring 3-rows with 7-seats with sliding doors and large openings in a compact crossover utility vehicle body.

The car looks really stylish and glamorous especially the front fascia gets a broad single lined chrome grille with company’s logo at the centre and stylish bumpers along with unique fog lamps. Not only the front, the side profile is also appreciable with the giant alloy wheels.

The interiors of the concept Vision XS-1 comes a spacious cabin which can accommodate five passengers comfortably. The dashboard of the car features a high quality plastics and the fabric mating is attractive. The price and other details of the car will be announced later.

Chevrolet reveals SUV Adra

The Chevrolet reveals its new compact SUV concept car known as Adra at the Auto Expo which would be a tough competitor to its similar other cars such as Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster. The Adra is totally developed on the basis of General Motors’ global small vehicle platform Gamma 2.

The Chevrolet Adra looks macho and sleek which is expected to feature a tweaked version of 1.3 litre Multijet diesel engine which can produce the maximum power of around 77 BHP. The designers of General Motors has performed their best in Adra with the blending of sleek styling and neat lines into the rugged silhouette. Other details of the Chevrolet Adra will be shared as soon as possible.

Harley-Davidson launches Street 750 at Rs.4.10 lakhs

The Street™ 750 comes powered by the all-new Revolution X™ engine – a pure Harley-Davidson V-Twin engine specifically designed for urban riding. Tata unveils Nexon at Auto Expo

Tata has showcased its Nexon, which is based on the Vista’s X1 platform at the Auto Expo.A few days before ,the company has unveiled its Bolt hatchback and Tata Zest. NEXON, the design concept is a modern youthful compact SUV. It will get the competition from Ford Ecosport and upcoming Mahindra S101.

The Hero Splendor Pro Classic is employed with a 100cc Air Cooled, 4 stroke single cylinder OHC engine which can generate the maximum torque of around 8.04 NM @ 4500 RPM. Tata Motors showcases Safari Storme Ladakh, Sumo Extreme and Nano Twist F-tronic

We all know that Tata Motors unveiled its Bolt hatchback & Zest sedan models recently. Today at the Auto Expo, the company showcased three models namely Safari Storme Ladakh, Sumo Extreme and Nano Twist F-tronic. Not known much about the models, we can expect the Safari and Sumo to be the updated versions of its predecessors while the Twist F-tronic to be the variant of Nano Twist. Bajaj unveils U car at Auto Expo

Bajaj has unveiled its concept “U car” at the Auto Expo Today. U Car comes with 4 valve, Triple spark, Fuel Injection(FI) Petrol engine and Automatic Transmission. It comes with AC and scissor doors. U car weighs 300 Kg and is possibly the lightest four-wheeler in India.

U Car , at present is at concept level and Bajaj Autos did not disclose the engine capacity. From the hearsays, it will be a 650 CC engine and could run on Petrol, CNG or LPG. As for as the pricing is concerned, U car may not a be a low priced car as Tata Nano and will be priced in the range of Rs. 2,50,000.
