Hyundai India plans to launch the new ix25 in the fast growing compact SUV segment in the next year.It is expected to arrive at the price tag ranging from Rs7.5-Rs11 lakhs.It will be available in both petrol and diesel variants,that will be powered up by the 1.4-litre VTVT and the 1.6-litre CRDi diesel respectively.A 1.4 litre VTVT engine will churn out 106 bhp of power and 135 Nm of torque,while 1.6 litre diesel engine would deliver up to 126 bhp of power and 260 Nm of torque.Efficient mileage will come up to 17km/pl for petrol variant and 22 km/pl for diesel variant.Both the manual and automatic transmission are available. Regarding the dimensions of the car,it won’t extend more than 4-meters in length,while the width would measure up to 1780 mm.The car measures 1630 mm height and wheelbase would measures up to 2590 mm. The production model will look different from the ix25 Concept showcased at the Auto China 2014.With the unique Fluidic Sculpture design 2.0 as standard,it would take on the likes of Renault Duster and Ford EcoSport.
