Today, for the first time in India, Honda has launched it’s Multi-purpose vehicle named “Mobilio” costs Rs.6.49 lakhs for petrol variant and 7.89 lakhs for diesel variant.Introducing 4 new variants namely E,S,V and RS,seems to be a good competitor against Ertiga, Mahindra Xylo, Nissan Evalia, Toyota and Innova. Though it resembles Amaze Sedan and Brio hatchback,it proves to be unique with its elegant appearance. The term “Mobilio” has its root in English words “mobile” and “mobility”.
The Honda Mobilio petrol variant will be powered by the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine, which powers the new Honda City.The petrol engine produces 117bhp and 14.8kgm of torque.The new 1.5litre i-DTEC engine which powers both Amaze and Honda City is designed to power the Mobilio Diesel variant.The diesel engine develops 99bhp and 20.4kgm of torque and returns a claimed 24.2kpl. Furthermore it provides customers with choices of choosing among exclusive crystal Black color of RS variant and seven colors of Mobilio. Considering the customer’s need for luxurious long drive,Honda brought up a solution in the name of Mobilio to meet their demands.
