Hero has unveiled HX250R, 250cc motorcycle at the 2014 Auto Expo. HX250R comes with sporty look which features lightning bolt design theme. We can expect the launch of HX250R by April of this year. It is expected to be priced at Rs 1.75 lakhs approximately.
The front of HX250R gets twin headlamps, daytime running LEDs with indicators. The digital instrument cluster includes tachometer, speedometer, fuel gauge, engine temperature and trip meter.
It measures 2085 mm in length, 735 mm in width, 1145 mm in height and wheelbase of 1370 mm. It comes with large visor for wind protection and wide fairing mounted mirrors.
It is powered by a four stroke, 249cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder and Fuel Injected (FI) engine with six speed (1-down, 5-up) gear box. It is expected to produce 31 bhp of peak power.
It comes with split seats and larger tank which extends as part of the front fairing with capacity of 12.9 liter. It also gets sleek under seat exhaust system.
At the front side it gets 300 mm disc brake. It comes with 10 spoke alloy wheels carrying tubeless tyres with the size of 110/80 R17. It includes telescopic forks for front suspension.
The rear of HX250R gets 220 mm disc brake. It includes monoshock trellis swingarm rear suspension and 140/70 R17 rear tyres
