Maruti is about to launch the new face-lifted Alto K10 on 3rd November. The upcoming K10 is to be carried over with revamps at both mechanical and cosmetic level. When it comes with the exterior styling, the headlamps are somewhat enlarged than the current model model with the chrome layered grille running on the upper half. Also, the tail lamps have undergone some revisions along with the dark plastic fog lamp enclosures.Regarding the interior part, the increased width and height by 1.5cm ,shortened engine bay gives us a perception that the cabin will tend to be more spacious than before.Further, the term fancy gets reflected in the intrinsic features like instrument cluster, the upholstery, steering wheel and the dashboard.Besides,to achieve best in class ARAI mileage of about 24.07kmpl,the combustion techniques have been improved a tad and remapping is also done at some level. While the 1.0 litre K10 petrol engine tends to deliver the same power and torque figures, yet it comes with an option of AMT transmission. We could expect the top-variant to get the driver airbags. Moreover,a reduction of about 15 kg in overall weight makes the face lifted Alto K10 even more zippier car.To meet the expectations of the customers,it would arrive at price slightly lesser than the outgoing model.
